Job Description
The Senior Global Supply Manager at Redwood Materials is responsible for managing the procurement of consumables and specialty materials, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to optimize purchasing efficiencies and support project profitability. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in supply chain management, with a focus on sustainability in the electric vehicle and clean energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the purchasing of consumables and specialty materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Review and analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data.
- Coordinate activities with suppliers and vendors, including contract negotiations.
- Make decisions on project purchases.
- Oversee development activities between suppliers and development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Construction, and/or Industrial Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain Purchasing Procurement.
- Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills.
- Experience in direct sourcing of consumables and commodities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, actively prioritize and multi-task.
- Willingness to travel as required at company expense.
