Job Description
The Senior BIM VDC Engineer will lead the digital modeling and coordination efforts for large-scale infrastructure projects, supporting sustainable battery manufacturing facilities through advanced BIM management, model integration, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and develop detailed BIM models for large-scale projects
- Coordinate and manage federated building models across multiple disciplines and teams
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of BIM models, including integration of work from various vendors and teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering or 5-8 years of hands-on experience in relevant fields.
- Expert knowledge with Revit and Autodesk software.
- Experience working with point clouds and laser scanners.
- Experience in aerial surveying using drones.
- Experience in model automations using Revit API.
- Experience leading a small team for rapid technical solution rollout.
- Experience interfacing with construction and cost control on quantity takeoffs and alignment between Work Breakdown Structure based cost tracking and BIM parameters.
- The position is full-time.
