The Manager, Production at Redwood Materials is responsible for managing daily manufacturing operations at MSC.
Key Responsibilities
Own shift-level production performance across all manufacturing lines, driving output safely and efficiently against key metrics including throughput, yield, quality, and incident rates.
Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and frontline operators, allocating people and attention to where they'll have the greatest impact as priorities shift.
Translate production schedules, material plans, and business targets into clear daily execution your team can run on, closing the gap between plan and actual without being asked.
Work through ambiguous problems, make decisions with incomplete information, and escalate fast when you need more resources or support.
Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, safety, and supply chain to resolve constraints and keep production flowing with minimal disruption.
Drive continuous improvement as a default, not a project. Identify inefficiencies across people, process, and equipment and chase them down systematically.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards, building a culture where doing it right and doing it fast are not in conflict.
