Job Description
The Manager of People Operations at Redwood Materials will lead the People Operations team, focusing on program management, process design, and compliance with labor laws, while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the People Operations team and establish goals and priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Manage a team of program managers and coordinators.
- Design, develop, and deliver critical people team programs.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and improve employee experience.
- Oversee people operations processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate data entry and develop efficient transaction management processes.
- Manage employee data and associated documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit annual regulatory reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and/or Recruiting, preferably in a start-up or high-growth environment, preferably experience with HR Recruiting Operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of HR Programs and systems as well as familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local labor laws through proactive auditing, monitoring changes in regulations, and designing scalable processes for continuous compliance.
