The Maintenance Technician is the primary executor of planned and reactive maintenance activities at Redwood Materials.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and support manufacturing and operational processes to meet production, quality, and business objectives
Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocols (L.O.T.O., 5-S, Arc Flash, Enclosed Spaces, etc.), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment and systems in accordance with established procedures and safety standards
Analyze operational and production data (e.g., yield, throughput, downtime, cost) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Prepare and maintain accurate operational, technical, and financial documentation, including reports, logs, and process records
Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to support day-to-day operations
Support planning and execution activities related to production schedules, materials, and cost or resource utilization
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and safety requirements
Requirements
Previous experience in an electronic assembly and/or troubleshooting background roles preferred
Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
Ability to follow complex written work instructions
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Ability to use scanners, label printers, and other IT/OT equipment
Proficient hazard recognition skills
Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Stand for extended periods (more than 80% of the shift)
Stoop, bend, push, pull and perform repetitive physical tasks
