Senior Solutions Architect

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise-scale government IT programs, from initial concept through production sustainment. • Translate ambiguous, loosely defined requirements into structured solution designs, proactively identifying and documenting critical technical assumptions. • Produce high-quality technical reference architectures, system-of-systems diagrams, and design documents suitable for government review. • Design cohesive architectures that integrate software applications, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI/ML components. • Engage directly with government customers to elicit and refine mission requirements, making well-reasoned technical assumptions when guidance is limited. • Provide authoritative technical direction to delivery teams, resolving architecture conflicts and approving critical technical deliverables. • Ensure all designs comply with government IT standards, including NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD IL2–IL6 requirements. • Champion DevSecOps practices, cloud-native patterns, and Agile delivery principles across all solution designs.

• Familiarity with Redhorse-preferred tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Databricks. • Experience architecting AI-enabled systems, including RAG pipelines, LLM integration, and MLOps lifecycles. • Experience with data engineering frameworks, including data lakes, streaming pipelines, and Spark-based architectures. • Certification in AWS Solutions Architecture (Professional level) or similar cloud credentials. • Experience architecting within SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks. • Knowledge of DoD/IC enterprise architecture frameworks and secure supply chain practices.
