Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of data collection activities across assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational standards.
Identify, develop, and lead the pursuit of new data collection opportunities within Combatant Commands and Service Components.
Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary staff responsible for data entry, review, and validation, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Establish and maintain rigorous data collection procedures, schedules, and documentation to ensure consistency and transparency.
Perform and oversee comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews to identify and correct data gaps or inconsistencies.
Collaborate with project managers, technical analysts, and government stakeholders to translate complex mission needs into clear data requirements.
Track progress against critical milestones and provide regular, high-level status updates to project and client leadership.
Ensure all data handling, storage, and transfers comply with organizational policies, contractual requirements, and federal security standards.
Drive continuous improvement by recommending innovative tools, methodologies, and processes to increase data collection efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or formal data collection protocols.
Familiarity with Data Visualization, Reporting, or GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools.
Experience supporting technical, scientific, or research-oriented projects for government clients.
Advanced knowledge of data quality control processes and analytical methodologies.
