Job Description
The Application Development Lead is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a secure, scalable web-based internal tool for government use, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring compliance with security and federal standards to improve government operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a web-based internal tool for non-technical end users.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of the application, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.
- Guide the engineering team in delivering secure, compliant, and innovative solutions using AWS cloud services.
- Ensure development practices align with Sponsor requirements, security standards, and federal compliance frameworks.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and application development on classified Sponsor systems.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining web-based internal tools used by non-technical end users.
- Ability to lead a team and guide engineering efforts to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
- Proven experience in leading the technical design and implementation of applications or tools.
- Knowledge of security standards and federal compliance frameworks relevant to government systems.
- Hands-on technical leadership skills with the ability to guide development practices in line with Sponsor requirements and security standards.
