Job Description
The Vice President, Capital Markets manages the execution and administration of QTS’ financing and capital markets activities and plays an integral role in developing long-term financial strategy for the Company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and administration of complex financial transactions, including collaboration with banking partners, coordination among internal departments, Blackstone and other transaction participants, evaluation of key financing terms, and ongoing administration
- Independently develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making including liquidity and interest forecasting, sensitivity analysis and capital allocation
- Prepare and present materials and analysis to internal leaders and Blackstone partners in support of overall financial strategy
- Subject matter expert in QTS’ capital structure and financing terms and independently manage ongoing administration and compliance
- Contribute to ongoing strategic initiatives including M&A and global expansion
- Contribute to preparation and presentation of Board materials, ongoing reporting dashboards and ad hoc requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics or equivalent work experience
- Ten or more years work experience in investment banking or financial equity research program or similar role in financial planning and analysis or real estate capital markets
- MBA
- Progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Five or more years’ experience in real estate development, technology, and/or the data center industry
