Job Description
The role involves acting as a technical partner and coach for channel partners, providing pre-sales technical support, enabling partners to sell and deploy storage solutions, and collaborating with sales teams to drive growth and technical excellence in the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical coach for Channel Partners, providing guidance and resources to enable their Systems Engineers and drive new business.
- Collaborate with the Territory Account Executive to support customer engagements and provide pre-sales technical support.
- Review and validate architecture, sizing, and quotes proposed by partners to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and product capabilities.
- Drive awareness and adoption of Pure Storage's sales and technical tools among partners and coordinate enablement resources such as training and workshops.
- Act as the key technical resource manager by linking partners to virtual resources and escalating complex technical inquiries to specialized teams.
Requirements
- Professional B2B experience in a customer-facing or pre-sales technical support role, demonstrating a solid understanding of technology sales motions and velocity selling.
- Practical familiarity with the enterprise storage market, data management, or current emerging IT infrastructure architectures such as servers, networking, and virtualization.
- Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships with both a sales counterpart (Territory Account Executive) and channel partners, with excellent communication skills to articulate technical value and coach others.
- A high degree of self-motivation, initiative, organizational skills, and resilience to quickly learn complex technical concepts and manage a high volume of concurrent partner engagements.
- Business-level fluency in both Italian and English for effective communication with local partners, customers, and international teams.
- Willingness to work primarily from the Milan, Italy office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
