Job Description
The Supply Chain Specialist supports the daily operations of the supply chain team by managing procurement, inventory, order tracking, and logistics to ensure the smooth flow of materials and timely delivery across departments.
Responsibilities
- •Track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and supplier shipments
- •Maintain accurate inventory records and databases
- •Support procurement activities such as gathering quotes and preparing purchase requisitions
- •Monitor stock levels and notify team of low or critical inventory
- •Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule shipments and deliveries
- •Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork
- •Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely material availability
- •Maintain organized supply chain documentation and filing systems
- •Assist in resolving order discrepancies, delivery delays, or product quality issues
- •Support supply chain reporting and data entry using ERP or inventory management systems
Requirements
- •Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent is required.
- •1 to 2 years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or administrative role is preferred.
- •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- •Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.
- •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- •Good communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
- •Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
