Job Description
The Strategic Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing workforce planning strategies that align with the organization's goals, utilizing data analysis to forecast staffing needs and identify skill gaps. This role involves collaborating with executives and HR teams to ensure the organization has the right talent in the right roles at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Build a scalable strategic workforce planning model and establish standardized processes.
- Select or develop tools to support workforce planning and data analysis.
- Lead the implementation of workforce planning models and processes across HR and business units.
- Forecast future staffing needs and identify skill gaps using data analysis.
- Leverage workforce analytics to provide reports and dashboards for decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR teams to align talent acquisition and development strategies with workforce planning.
- Conduct scenario planning and develop contingency plans for workforce flexibility.
- Serve as the main point of contact for workforce planning discussions with business leaders.
- Continuously enhance workforce planning practices based on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or a related HR role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and develop action plans.
- Proficiency in workforce planning tools, HRIS systems, and data visualization software (e.g., Workday, Tableau, ServiceNow).
- Experience with building workforce planning models, processes, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership.
- Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
