Job Description
This role involves designing and implementing high-performance, reliable storage systems and algorithms for modern data applications, working with distributed systems, operating systems, and hardware, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative enterprise storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, collaborate on, and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, reliable systems.
- Own and deliver end-to-end innovation from concept to shipped product.
- Analyze and solve complex problems through persistence and insight.
- Engage with stakeholders across product management, development, validation, support, and customers.
- Contribute to system design, development, and deployment, ensuring high availability and uptime.
- Develop and refine system software using languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, or Go.
- Understand and work with modern technology architectures, including distributed systems and storage solutions.
Requirements
- Developer-level Linux platform experience
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Java, Go, or other programming languages, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- A strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and a solid understanding of threads, synchronization, and concurrent programming
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options with stakeholders
- Possess a track record of setting and achieving high standards
- Have a strong understanding of modern technology architecture
- Understanding of production systems and deployments, and ability to contribute to high availability and uptime of enterprise infrastructure deployments
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Willingness to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with company policies
