Job Description
The job involves ensuring the quality of FlashArray products by creating system test designs, automating workflows, and identifying defects. Candidates should have experience in software system testing, particularly in cloud and container platforms, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure FlashArray product and features ship with the highest quality.
- Create system test designs focusing on FlashArray feature interoperability at scale.
- Automate workflows and identify high-value defects to assure quality.
- Collaborate with support and escalation teams to reproduce and root cause customer issues.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during testing.
- Design and build tools for efficient execution and triage of test scripts.
- Deploy customer applications and integrate them for repeatable workflows.
- Understand feature inner workings to enhance fault tolerance and resilience.
- Continuously identify test gaps and perform root cause analysis on customer-found defects.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5 years of software system testing experience, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of System testing using end-to-end Automation.
- Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with any virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack, and Oracle.
- Experience with multiple operating systems including Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
- Hands-on automation experience in Python or similar scripting languages.
- Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
