Job Description
The role involves working as a highly motivated engineer in a small team to develop innovative solutions for massive-scale cloud storage environments, focusing on flash storage technologies and software to meet the demands of AI and hyperscale workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to innovative product ideas for massive-scale cloud storage environments
- Build innovative solutions using flash storage technologies and software
- Design and implement new algorithms and technologies for high-performance systems
- Own and deliver innovation from concept to shipped product
- Analyze and solve challenging problems
- Collaborate with team members and inspire peers
- Ensure customer satisfaction with products
- Develop new products for new markets
- Understand and work with flash memory technologies and data center architectures
- Work with distributed storage platforms like Ceph, AWS S3, and Azure Blob
Requirements
- 8 years experience using C, C++, Golang, or related programming languages.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience.
- Deep understanding of flash memory technologies, designing SSDs, compute and storage hardware and software, networking, and data center architectures and standards.
- Experience with distributed storage platforms, such as Ceph, AWS S3, Azure Blob.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing technical requirements.
- Comfort working with engineers, architects and leadership at large customers.
- Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
