Key Responsibilities
- Scale & Lead SecOps Operations: Architect, mentor, and grow the India SecOps team to foster an environment of high morale, technical excellence, and rapid execution across detection engineering and incident response.
- Proactively Manage & Remediate Attack Surface: Own end-to-end Attack Surface Management (ASM) across cloud environments, SaaS applications, endpoints, and secrets management to measurably minimize enterprise exposure and mitigate risk.
- Optimize Telemetry & Incident Response: Mature SIEM and SOAR automation pipelines to drastically reduce mean time to detect, contain, and respond (MTTD/MTTC/MTTR) while continuously elevating alert fidelity and signal confidence.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment & RCA Postmortems: Lead continuous validation through purple-teaming and incident postmortems alongside global Infrastructure, AppSec, and Engineering teams to close control gaps and drive long-term platform security.
Requirements
- SecOps & Leadership Mastery: Proven track record of technical and people leadership in enterprise cybersecurity, with deep expertise in detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and Attack Surface Management (ASM).
- Hands-on Technical & Tooling Expertise: Advanced proficiency with enterprise SIEM (such as Splunk), SOAR automation, EDR solutions, and cloud telemetry (AWS/Azure) with the ability to design, review, and defend security architectures.
- Engineering & Threat-Informed Mindset: Practical experience with detection-as-code practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and threat modeling frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK) to systematically strengthen defenses.
- Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management: High emotional intelligence with a demonstrated ability to navigate cross-functional dependencies, resolve inter-team friction productively, and translate complex security telemetry into actionable business outcomes.
- Office Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
