Job Description
The Regional Solutions Architect at Pure Storage is a senior technical role responsible for engaging with global system integrator clients and partners, driving strategic deals, developing innovative solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to accelerate business transformation and revenue growth through technical expertise and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic deals within GSI accounts and identify new opportunities
- Define end-to-end solutions including industry approach, technology, and processes
- Establish technical credibility and build relationships with clients and partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive product features, integrations, and solutions
- Stay current on industry and technology trends relevant to clients and partners
- Guide sales teams in proposing and delivering optimal solutions in a competitive environment
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, sales, engineering, and product teams
- Mentor and provide guidance to other Solution Architects
- Develop partner capabilities through enablement sessions and marketing activities
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in technical leadership expertise
- Product experience across technology vendors within the specific region
- Outstanding communication skills including written, verbal, and diagrammatic communication
- Demonstrated ability to simplify ideas for both non-technical and technical audiences
- Strong technical knowledge of storage, compute, database, networking, virtualization, and emerging technologies such as Cloud Native, Modern Virtualization, AI, ML, and Big Data Analytics
- Ability to work collaboratively in the community and on social media
- Combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented problem solving approach
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious approach with a strong passion to make a difference
- Strong executive presence and ability to evangelize on a wide range of topics
- Ability to work collaboratively across the broader Pure Storage organization
- Proficiency in driving results with a high degree of accountability
- Ability to change focus and pace to match a dynamically-evolving hyper-competitive environment
