Job Description
The role involves developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Pure Storage's cloud-based products, creating compelling messaging and content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the core messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for cloud-based products.
- Create high-impact content such as presentations, whitepapers, web copy, and FAQs to communicate technical features and customer benefits.
- Coordinate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure unified and effective go-to-market execution.
- Act as the spokesperson for Pure's cloud products, advocating for their value proposition and engaging stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a product marketer, specifically owning the story and strategy for a high-growth cloud portfolio.
- Ability to develop and drive core messaging, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for cloud-based products, directly impacting market perception, awareness, and sales.
- Experience creating high-impact content such as presentations, whitepapers, web copy, and FAQs that translate complex technical features into clear customer benefits.
- Ability to act as the subject matter expert and serve as the central point of contact between product management, sales, and marketing to ensure messaging consistency and strategic alignment.
- Experience serving as an internal and external spokesperson for cloud products, advocating for the value proposition and influencing key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling product messaging and create impactful content that resonates with an enterprise IT audience.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing complex technology products to enterprise customers.
- Deep technical knowledge and understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including expertise in hybrid and public cloud data storage.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with product management, sales, and other teams to align on strategy and execute effectively.
- Work in an in-office environment primarily at the Santa Clara office, in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
