Job Description
A Senior Product Manager role focused on leading the strategy, development, and management of a Master Data Management (MDM) platform to support data governance and business processes within a technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product and feature requirements for the MDM platform based on customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis
- Manage product prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery of MDM initiatives, aligning stakeholders and driving results
- Drive the automation of business rules for matching and survivorship within the MDM platform and identify KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate adoption and engagement of the MDM platform
- Partner with data governance to ensure data stewardship and meet KPIs
- Prioritize backlog, refine features, and define requirements in an agile development environment
- Evaluate and recommend investments to maximize the financial results of the MDM platform
Requirements
- Six (6) years of experience in product management, consulting, or architecture, specifically involving the design and implementation of Master Data domains such as Customer, Product, and Asset.
- Experience in crafting and driving Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and business case development.
- Deep understanding of the Master Data Management Data Model and experience in establishing and enhancing data models.
- Prior experience in implementing formal Master Data Management (MDM) platforms in large organizations, with a preference for experience at Big 4 consulting firms.
- Proficiency in industry-leading Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality tools, including but not limited to Reltio and Informatica.
- Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of key business processes such as Quote-to-Cash and Customer Onboarding.
- Strong knowledge of data, analytics, and the enablement of online platforms or services, including expertise with SQL.
- Proven ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners, influence stakeholders, collaborate effectively, and deliver solutions in a complex, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate creative thinking, with a capacity to innovate, influence, and execute.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Ability and willingness to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: 181,000 - 272,000 USD annually
Work environment: primarily in-office at Santa Clara, CA
