The role involves managing the month-end close process, balance sheet management, and fixed asset lifecycle, while providing analytical reviews and business support across various teams in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Responsibilities
•Ensure timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual close process activities for 30 entities across EMEA, APJ, and LATAM
•Take ownership of assigned balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
•Prepare monthly analytical reviews and reports for senior management
•Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations
•Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of prepayments and amortizations
•Own T&E accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
•Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes and systems
•Own and operate various internal controls and participate in external audits
•Provide business support to FP&A teams and review purchase requisitions
•Liaise across different geographies and functions to ensure service excellence
•Take ownership of project work, including finance transformation initiatives
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
•Experienced as a general ledger or related accounting experience, ideally in a multinational or technology environment.
•Understanding of both US GAAP and local statutory accounting principles.
•Strong understanding of fixed assets, prepayments, and intercompany accounting principles.
•Proficiency in ERP systems e.g., SAP, Netsuite and advanced Excel skills.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
•Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and geographies.
