Job Description

The Senior Compensation Partner, International, is responsible for developing and managing global compensation strategies, ensuring compliance across regions, and advising HR and business leaders to support organizational growth, talent acquisition, and employee engagement in a fast-growing tech company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to develop and implement compensation strategies supporting organizational growth and compliance.
  • Advise HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation matters, ensuring pay fairness and alignment with company philosophy.
  • Lead regional HRBPs and business leaders through the Annual Compensation Cycle to ensure consistency and fairness in rewards.
  • Design and implement competitive compensation structures, including base pay, incentives, and allowances for international functions.
  • Ensure compliance with global and regional pay regulations, labor laws, and pay equity practices across multiple countries.
  • Manage cross-functional projects related to compensation design, change communications, policy documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Leverage best practices to improve compensation effectiveness and develop regional compensation knowledge and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • A Master’s degree or professional certification e.g., Certified Compensation Professional is preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in compensation management.
  • Ability to navigate complex challenges with strong analytical, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with global employment and labor laws, partnering effectively with legal counsel when needed.
  • Experience applying user-centered design thinking to shape impactful HR processes and experiences.
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into clarity through confident, clear communication whether presenting to groups, leading workshops, or aligning stakeholders.
  • Influence without authority, by fostering cross-functional collaboration in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, high-quality approach to work.
  • Trustworthiness to handle sensitive information with maturity, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Highly organized while managing competing priorities with resilience and focus.
  • Proficiency in compensation management systems and tools.
