Job Description
The Sr. Channel Incentive Manager will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and operations of partner incentive programs, driving operational excellence and enhancing partner performance through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and operations of partner incentive programs.
- Implement and manage partner incentives aligned with strategic goals.
- Track and validate partner enablement status related to incentives.
- Establish and maintain compliance policies and governance standards for incentive administration.
- Direct data collection and analysis for rebate calculations and program performance.
- Utilize analytics to identify trends and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with finance and other teams for accurate incentive calculations and payments.
- Serve as the primary contact for escalations related to incentives.
- Continuously assess and refine rebate calculation methodologies and processes.
- Oversee documentation of incentive processes for audits and internal reviews.
- Provide strategic insights and guidance on rebate-related matters.
- Educate and mentor teams on the incentive portfolio and administration.
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance partner incentives and channel performance.
- Stay informed of market trends to ensure competitive incentive programs.
- Support strategic projects and drive process improvements across operations.
Requirements
- Experience in running global incentives compliantly.
- Strong analytical skills to identify problems and suggest solutions.
- Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce (SFDC), Tableau, and Google Slides.
- Experience working with outside vendors for the administration of incentive programs.
- Strong stakeholder partnering experience with Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable regarding budgeting and accruals.
- Experience with hardware capital expenditure models and recurring revenue models in a software subscription model.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and possess the ability to influence, drive decisions, and implement through execution.
- Ability to oversee the comprehensive documentation of incentive processes, including methodologies, calculations, and policy adherence.
- Ability to ensure accurate record-keeping to support audits and internal reviews.
- Ability to educate and mentor cross-functional teams on the nuances of the incentive portfolio and considerations in the administration and execution of partner incentives.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance partner incentives and overall channel performance.
- Ability to stay informed of market trends and industry standards to ensure the organization’s incentive programs remain competitive and effective.
