Job Description
This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of high-performance data storage products through system testing, automation, and troubleshooting, primarily in cloud and enterprise environments, to support innovative storage solutions for demanding applications.
Responsibilities
- •Ensure FlashArray products and features are shipped with high quality
- •Create system test designs focusing on feature interoperability at scale
- •Automate workflows and identify high-value defects to assure product quality
- •Collaborate with support and escalation teams to reproduce and diagnose customer issues
- •Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during testing
- •Design and build tools to improve execution and triage of test scripts
- •Deploy customer applications and integrate them to test customer use cases
- •Understand feature inner workings to target failure domains and improve fault tolerance
- •Continuously identify test gaps and perform root cause analysis on customer-found defects
Requirements
- •BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- •5 years of software system testing experience, or equivalent.
- •Strong knowledge of System testing using end-to-end Automation.
- •Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker.
- •Experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack, Oracle deployment, and customer use cases.
- •Experience with multiple operating systems including Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
- •Hands-on automation experience in Python or similar scripting languages.
- •Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
- •Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- •Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- •Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- •Willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
