Job Description

The Inside Sales professional at Pure Storage is responsible for prospecting targeted accounts, creating new business opportunities, and supporting field sales efforts to drive company growth. This role emphasizes collaboration, high performance, and career development within a dynamic technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect to identify net new opportunities
  • Identify, qualify and set appointments for field counterparts
  • Conduct research on key target accounts
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing to develop outbound call campaigns
  • Progress opportunities with field Account Executives as needed
  • Handle project up-sells and renewals
  • Qualify and respond to daily marketing generated leads
  • Drive attendance to scheduled partner events
  • Work with Account Executives to identify sales targets and penetrate new accounts
  • Collaborate with Channel on outbound prospecting campaigns
  • Communicate with Marketing on strategy and lead generation
  • Stay updated on current storage trends and competitor news
  • Utilize sales enablement tools like Salesforce.com and LinkedIn

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in sales, preferably storage.
  • BA/BS Degree required.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and penetrating net-new accounts.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize various sales-related activities and fluently adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with full professional fluency in English and one other European Language.
  • Ability to clearly communicate Pure Storage business value to varying roles in an IT organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Daily use of sales enablement tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com, Discover.org, Gmail, LinkedIn, Insidesales.com.
  • Approximately 5-10% travel for trade show events, Enterprise Briefings, and customer visits.
  • As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week.
