Job Description

The Inside Sales professional at Pure Storage will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities, managing targeted accounts, and collaborating with field sales to drive business growth in the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect to identify net new opportunities in Australia and New Zealand
  • Identify, qualify, and set appointments for field counterparts
  • Conduct research on key target accounts
  • Design and execute targeted outbound call campaigns
  • Support the progression of opportunities until they reach the quoting stage
  • Qualify and respond to daily marketing generated leads
  • Drive attendance to scheduled partner events
  • Collaborate with Account Executive field sales to identify sales targets
  • Maintain communication with Marketing on follow-up activities and lead conversion outcomes
  • Utilize sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and LinkedIn

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year experience in sales, preferably storage.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and penetrating net-new accounts within Australia New Zealand.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize various sales-related activities and fluently adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate Pure Storage business value to varying roles in an IT organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Australia without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week.
