Job Description
The role involves serving as a strategic technology leader and trusted advisor for federal clients, driving innovation in data storage and cloud solutions, influencing product development, and engaging with industry stakeholders to shape technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic technology advisor to customers and partners, guiding digital transformation and solution adoption
- Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to promote platform and service adoption
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to communicate technical value and drive revenue
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to influence product development and roadmaps
- Create proof-of-concepts, technical demos, and solution architectures to showcase technology capabilities
- Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events and executive briefings
- Contribute to technical content such as blogs, webinars, and whitepapers to establish market authority
- Support pre-sales and post-sales technical engagements to ensure customer understanding and value realization
- Mentor internal teams and partners on emerging technologies and competitive advantages
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, such as Field CTO, Principal Architect, or Distinguished Engineer
- Previous experience working within Federal accounts
- Active TS SCI Security Clearance (considered a huge plus)
- Deep expertise in cloud computing, AI ML, cybersecurity, data architecture, or a related technology domain
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, including storage architectures, high-availability solutions, and hybrid multi-cloud data strategies
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders
- Proven track record of engaging with Fortune 500 enterprises and influencing technical decision-making
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
- Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software solutions
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet customers and attend industry events
