Job Description
The Principal Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through hands-on testing and test automation, while collaborating with peers to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies across various products.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software through hands-on testing and test automation.
- Design tests and develop automated test sets and strategies for various products.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with Support and Escalation teams to replicate and identify the root cause of customer issues.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during automated testing.
- Proactively identify test gaps and conduct root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software system testing or equivalent.
- Proficient in System testing with a strong emphasis on end-to-end Automation.
- Hands-on experience in automation using Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, and/or similar languages.
- Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Familiarity with VMware, Disaster recovery, and Data protection.
- Familiarity with SAN or NAS systems.
- Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
- Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open office, team environment.
- Expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week.
