Job Description
The Growth Product Manager will develop strategies and business plans to optimize Pure Storage's product offerings for growth in commercial and SLED markets, focusing on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis while driving cross-functional collaboration for successful product execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategy and business plan for product and solutions offerings in commercial and SLED markets.
- Analyze market trends and customer technology needs.
- Create and execute go-to-market business plans across various sales channels.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve business OKRs.
- Gather customer and partner insights to inform product roadmaps.
- Document product and solution requirements in PRD and MRD.
- Provide sales teams with tools and insights for product execution.
- Identify opportunities for product and solutions bundling.
- Engage in regular reviews with cross-functional leadership.
- Coordinate go-to-market efforts and ensure successful execution of plans.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in outbound product management or related technical product roles.
- 10 years of experience for the leaders of each growth area.
- Experience operating in a hyper-growth entrepreneurial environment, scaling new and emerging products from the ground-up, and translating commercial business model needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working in an enterprise technology setting, with expertise in Infrastructure software SaaS, and understanding of the data storage management market as well as competitive dynamics and customer adoption behavior.
- Experience operating in a global role or on a global scale.
- Excellent narrative and storytelling skills that propel usage, adoption, and market momentum.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies.
