Job Description
The job involves managing payroll processes for Pure Storage employees, including handling inquiries, collaborating with third-party payroll providers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate should have experience in multi-country payroll and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle employee inquiries and ensure resolution via the ticketing system.
- Address payroll-related queries from HR and third parties.
- Collaborate with third-party payroll providers to manage the monthly payroll process.
- Validate data from HR systems and external payroll providers.
- Complete payroll processing within established deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with payroll controls and statutory regulations.
- Support the coordination and development of payroll services.
- Identify and implement process improvements for payroll efficiency.
- Assist with year-end payroll requests from providers and internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience managing payroll processes, both in-house and through vendors.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with multi-country payroll, ideally using a global payroll provider.
- 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
- Experience handling payroll for at least two complex countries e.g., Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Austria, India.
- End-to-end payroll process experience, including payroll calculation, payments, and accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
