Job Description
This role involves designing and building scalable, resilient distributed control systems and APIs to support cloud-based storage solutions, contributing to the development of next-generation cloud data services and virtualization capabilities within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient distributed control systems and transactional processing platforms for cloud storage services
- Architect and develop developer-facing API libraries and intent-based policy management engines
- Integrate core products into a scalable, cloud-based platform with observability, telemetry, and APIs
- Lead the full software product lifecycle from concept to mature product support
- Define and evolve the technical roadmap for cloud data services, containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and virtualization capabilities
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge in cloud technologies and services, including deep familiarity with virtualization, containers Kubernetes, orchestration, and core cloud data services.
- Proven experience in the creation, implementation, and support of developer APIs and building managing complex distributed systems and control planes.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and manage large-scale Public Private Cloud environments, ideally from a cloud provider or enterprise end-user perspective.
- Deep technical understanding of cloud architectures, encompassing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models, and how they relate to modern storage delivery.
- Strong ability to lead, influence, and drive technical consensus across broad organizational boundaries, engaging effectively with peers and executives.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable, resilient distributed control systems and transactional processing platforms for cloud storage services.
- Experience in architecting and building developer-facing API libraries and declarative intent-based policy management engines.
- Experience in integrating core products into scalable, transactional cloud platforms with observability, telemetry functionality, and APIs.
- Experience in driving the full software product lifecycle from early concept and product definition through MVP development, GA, and mature product support.
- Ability to define and evolve the technical roadmap for cloud data services, containers Kubernetes orchestration, and core virtualization capabilities (storage, compute, network) within a production environment.
- Work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
