Job Description
This role involves managing and optimizing enterprise-level artifact management platforms, ensuring high availability and performance across hybrid cloud environments, and implementing automation and reliability practices to support product development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and operate large-scale, distributed Artifactory clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
- Scale and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments using automation tools.
- Implement SRE and DevOps best practices to automate manual tasks, improve system observability, and enhance security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve escalations and maintain technical runbooks for issue resolution.
Requirements
- Deep experience managing enterprise Artifactory clusters in high-traffic production environments, including lifecycle management and performance tuning.
- Design and operate large-scale, distributed Artifactory clusters to ensure 24/7 availability and peak performance for global engineering teams.
- Deploy and manage core services across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments, including hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks like Puppet and Ansible.
- Mastery of configuration management tools Puppet and Ansible.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash to automate complex workflows.
- Experience scaling services within cloud providers AWS and Azure, and managing containerized workloads via Kubernetes.
- Strong hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or similar message queue event streaming systems such as Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, SNS, Google Pub Sub, Azure Service Bus, or Apache Pulsar.
- Experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps best practices to automate manual toil, improve observability via Datadog and Prometheus, and harden system security.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve complex escalations and maintaining technical runbooks to resolve issues with speed and precision.
