Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineering Manager in Madrid leads and develops a high-performing technical sales team, driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise, fostering innovation, and building strong customer relationships within the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop a high-performing technical sales team through recruitment, mentoring, and retention.
- Partner with Sales leadership to analyze territory dynamics, forecast objectives, and deploy technical resources effectively.
- Oversee the technical sales lifecycle, including architecture designs, RFPs, and proof of concepts, ensuring delivery of value-based solutions.
- Act as the technical voice of the field, synthesizing customer feedback and competitive insights to influence product development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with external partners to facilitate business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating technical pre-sales teams in an Enterprise environment, with a track record of driving revenue and developing high-performing talent.
- Deep technical understanding of the data storage landscape, including virtualization VMware, HyperV, cloud architectures, and database environments Oracle, SQL, with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to C-level executives.
- Advanced capability in resource management, negotiation, and problem-solving, with the agility to navigate complex engineering designs and business challenges simultaneously.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Location in Madrid, with the expectation to work from the Madrid office in compliance with company policies.
