The Senior Systems Engineering Manager in Madrid leads and develops a high-performing technical sales team, driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise, fostering innovation, and building strong customer relationships within the data storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Build and develop a high-performing technical sales team through recruitment, mentoring, and retention.
Partner with Sales leadership to analyze territory dynamics, forecast objectives, and deploy technical resources effectively.
Oversee the technical sales lifecycle, including architecture designs, RFPs, and proof of concepts, ensuring delivery of value-based solutions.
Act as the technical voice of the field, synthesizing customer feedback and competitive insights to influence product development.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with external partners to facilitate business growth.
Requirements
Proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating technical pre-sales teams in an Enterprise environment, with a track record of driving revenue and developing high-performing talent.
Deep technical understanding of the data storage landscape, including virtualization VMware, HyperV, cloud architectures, and database environments Oracle, SQL, with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to C-level executives.
Advanced capability in resource management, negotiation, and problem-solving, with the agility to navigate complex engineering designs and business challenges simultaneously.
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Location in Madrid, with the expectation to work from the Madrid office in compliance with company policies.
