Job Description
This role involves leading the development and management of a Center of Excellence for Program Management Office (PMO), focusing on streamlining processes, establishing governance standards, and driving digital and business transformation initiatives to ensure successful, scalable project delivery and business adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and improve the PMO Center of Excellence operating model, standards, and governance.
- Streamline PMO and Program Manager processes to enhance efficiency and focus on outcomes.
- Establish and govern enterprise standards for Program Management, Change Management, and UAT.
- Build and enhance PMO Operations capabilities, including portfolio governance, delivery health, and performance metrics.
- Track and report PMO KPIs and portfolio insights through dashboards and operational reports.
- Ensure initiatives are business-ready, adopted, and value-realized by integrating UAT and change readiness.
- Drive adoption of new systems, processes, and capabilities via change management and sponsor enablement.
- Reduce operational and delivery risks through standardized frameworks, tools, and governance models.
- Lead optimization of project management tools and implement AI-enabled workflows for efficiency and decision-making.
- Identify and execute continuous improvements across project, program, and portfolio management practices.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Business Operations, Business Transformation, Program Management, or Management Consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- PMP certification required.
- Recognized Change Management certification e.g., Prosci, CCMP highly preferred.
- Proven experience across program management, change management, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Demonstrated ability to increase the likelihood of meeting project objectives through effective change and adoption practices.
- Strong portfolio management and governance experience.
- Expert proficiency in Asana or equivalent project management tools.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI for PMO and operational excellence.
- Direct people management experience with a track record of coaching and performance uplift.
- Experience with Lean Portfolio Management or Lean-Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Strategic yet hands-on execution mindset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Ability to operate across ambiguity and drive clarity.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Data-driven decision-making and attention to detail.
- Self-starting problem solver with a pragmatic, can-do attitude.
