Job Description
The Global Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing international trade shows and events, managing budgets, vendors, logistics, and on-site activities to create exceptional attendee experiences and support the company's strategic marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production and execution of global trade shows and events, managing budgets up to $1 million.
- Coordinate and lead planning meetings with internal teams and third-party vendors across different time zones.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and critical deadlines for logistics, creative, and marketing teams.
- Communicate objectives, project status, and updates to team members regularly.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, reconcile invoices, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Create event overviews, staff schedules, and training materials for events.
- Collaborate with vendors globally to manage booth properties, logistics, and costs.
- Oversee logistics such as drayage, shipping, electrical requirements, and vendor coordination.
- Manage on-site activities including setup, support during event hours, breakdown, and transportation.
- Organize and run ancillary events, hospitality programs, and post-event activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
- 7-10 years of professional experience planning and leading tradeshow events
- Ability and flexibility to travel up to 35% and work overtime as needed to attend events and client meetings including weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and timelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with global and senior-level stakeholders
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, including the Google Suite, Asana, Zoom, Slack, Cvent, and Mobile event apps

Annual base salary range of $97,000 to $184,000 USD
