Job Description
The Global Account Manager at Pure Storage is responsible for leading and managing a subset of global Telco accounts, driving sales growth, and building long-term relationships with customers and channel partners. The role requires a proven track record in enterprise solution selling, strategic account planning, and the ability to engage with C-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategy and team-selling efforts with partners and teammates to close business.
- Exceed assigned quota and build relationships with large global customers.
- Develop long-term relationships with Channel Partners to drive revenue.
- Drive customer satisfaction and maintain an accurate sales forecast.
- Prospect and penetrate accounts to reach decision-makers and close business.
- Lead strategic account planning and manage a global Telco account team.
- Establish and manage relationships with C-level stakeholders.
- Assemble and execute a detailed strategic account plan.
- Coordinate organizational efforts to formulate go-to-market strategies.
- Identify potential markets for new and existing products and services.
- Pursue and close sales opportunities and leads.
- Deliver high-quality proposals and business value justifications.
Requirements
- Proven ability to win and lead a small subset of global Telco accounts.
- Proven ability to exceed assigned quota, prospect, close global contracts, and build new and deep relationships with large global customers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships with Channel Partners that drive revenue.
- Experience and proven success opening large accounts in a new business, hunter territory.
- Proven track record of penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing business.
- Direct strategic account planning and leadership of a global Telco account team.
- Ability to establish and manage complex relationship networks of C-level stakeholders and highest level senior internal representatives.
- Ability to assemble and work to a detailed strategic account plan designed to deliver value and meet the customer’s business and IT objectives.
- Ability to coordinate different areas of the organization to formulate go-to-market strategies for nominated global accounts.
- Ability to manage complex customer-supplier-partner dynamics.
- Ability to assess customer and market trends and provide timely and accurate revenue forecasting.
- Ability to drive accelerated revenue growth by identifying potential markets for new and existing products and services in accounts.
- Ability to identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities and leads.
- Experience of working with major Nordics Telco Global Accounts.
- 7-10 years of successful global accounts enterprise solution selling within technology services.
- 7-10 years of enterprise sales experience.
- Ability to lead and manage an international and distributed team.
- Ability to think strategically and drive sales transformation programs.
- Deep work experience in Telecommunications IT Industry.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
