Job Description
The job involves designing and building visually appealing and intuitive GUI applications, collaborating with product teams to enhance user experience, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have experience in web application development and a strong understanding of frontend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build visually appealing and intuitive GUI based on functional specifications
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and feature teams to iterate on requirements, designs, and solutions
- Participate in defining the UI UX strategy for the product, design process and user experience workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and help them grow
- Collect and analyze GUI metrics to understand usage and engagement
- Create comprehensive and efficient automated tests
Requirements
- MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or BS with work experience.
- At least 4 years of professional work experience building large scale, enterprise GUI applications.
- Full lifecycle web application development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript package management tools such as NodeJs, NPM, and yarn.
- Experience with Frontend web frameworks including Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience with Frontend testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or StoryBook.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, LESS, and SAAS, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Experience developing web applications that work across multiple browsers and screen sizes.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment.
