Job Description
The role involves leading the investigation and resolution of customer product issues, creating analytics tools, and designing innovative algorithms for high-performance systems within the Fleet Reliability team at Pure Storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the investigation and resolution of emergent problems
- Create analytics to understand customer problems
- Design and implement new algorithms and technologies for high-performance systems
- Own and deliver innovation from concept to shipped product
- Create analytics tools pipelines leveraging product telemetry
- Analyze and solve challenging problems
- Collaborate with team members to inspire and be inspired
Requirements
- 7 years experience using C, C++, Python, Go, Java or related programming languages
- Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Experience in any number of related systems software projects such as Distributed systems, Operating systems, Linux Kernel, Database internals, Hypervisors, Containers, Compiler Optimization, etc.
- Experience using various databases including SQL, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
- A BS degree in Computer Science
- Ability to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies
