Job Description
A Finance Intern role focused on transforming raw data into strategic insights, building financial models, automating data workflows, and supporting decision-making processes to drive the company's growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute high-impact financial projects from start to finish, presenting findings to senior leadership
- Build and refine financial models and automated dashboards to improve reporting speed and accuracy
- Automate manual data tasks using tools like SQL, Python, or AI-driven chatbots to enhance data workflows
- Analyze complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights for departmental leaders
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or a related field graduating December 2026 or later and able to commit to 20 hours per week during the academic year.
- Strong foundation in financial modeling and the ability to translate large, messy data sets into structured insights using Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization software.
- Comfortable navigating modern data environments, with an interest or proficiency in SQL, Python, database programming, or the application of AI automation to financial workflows.
- Verbal and written clarity to explain financial concepts to non-finance partners and a proactive mindset required to manage projects in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to build and refine sophisticated financial models and automated dashboards to increase the speed and accuracy of reporting for R D, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Experience or proficiency in leveraging tools like SQL, Python, or AI-driven chatbots to automate manual data tasks.
- Ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable business narratives that help departmental heads understand their spend, ROI, and operational efficiency.
- Willingness to work primarily from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
