Job Description
The role involves creating technical content and enablement materials for Analytics AI solutions, participating in customer-facing activities, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to enhance the adoption of Pure Storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create field-facing solutions content including Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives, Demos, and Qualification Guides.
- Conduct webinars and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Participate in customer-facing calls, demos, POCs, and internal strategy sessions.
- Stay updated on internal product offerings and formalize enablement plans.
- Engage in daily conversations with Solutions Architects and Product Management.
- Oversee field testing to document application and platform knowledge.
- Assist in post-sales troubleshooting with expert-level knowledge.
- Collaborate with Sales Leaders for feedback and communication.
- Inspire and motivate the field to achieve success and attract customers.
- Communicate and align with cross-functional teams within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of Pre-sales experience in IT.
- Strong technical acumen in the Analytics AI space with deep interest and vision for the industry.
- Strong understanding of the infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, etc. that underpins a high performance environment.
- Experience leading from the front with a strong reputation as an industry-respected technical evangelist with demonstrated deep expertise in key technologies.
- Exceptional level of specialized sales with Analytics AI product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of Pure Storage competitive domain in these technologies.
- Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Pure Storage solution strategy to a technical level of detail.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple to understand distilled manner to teach account teams and partners about Pure's Analytics AI solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
- Proficiency with G-Suite, CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs.
- Knowledge of the Analytics AI landscape and how they all play together at Pure for a specific outcome for a customer, including various applications technologies part of a larger data pipeline such as Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations throughout the US and abroad.
- Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability.
