Job Description
The Engineering Manager at Pure Storage will lead a team of software developers in the creation of automated test infrastructure for software-based all-flash storage arrays, collaborating with various teams to ensure product quality and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- •Lead product development and grow the engineering organization.
- •Manage a team of software developers in creating products.
- •Collaborate with product management and other software teams.
- •Provide technical direction and mentoring to team members.
- •Develop automated test infrastructure for software-based storage arrays.
- •Define test automation requirements through product design reviews.
- •Perform hands-on design, development, and debugging.
- •Identify and leverage metrics to improve the release process.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- •3 years of technical management experience at multiple levels while staying hands-on in automation, troubleshooting, or development.
- •5 years of software test automation experience.
- •Proven expertise in managing projects throughout the entire development life-cycle.
- •Solid knowledge of end-to-end quality best practices.
- •Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- •Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
- •Experience with troubleshooting and managing a complex automation system.
