The role involves managing complex employee relations cases, conducting workplace investigations, advising leaders on ER matters, and developing ER policies within a fast-paced, international environment to support organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end workplace investigations, including witness interviews, fact-finding, documentation review, and outcome recommendations.
  • Manage ER case intake, risk assessment, case management, and closure while maintaining accurate updates in case management systems.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers, HRBPs, and leaders on employee relations matters.
  • Assess risk and recommend appropriate actions based on company policy, employment law, and best practices.
  • Identify trends and themes using data analytics to inform ER strategies and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ER policies, processes, templates, and guidance materials.
  • Deliver coaching and training to managers and stakeholders on ER-related topics.
  • Handle sensitive matters with discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Support change initiatives and organizational decisions requiring ER expertise.

Requirements

  • Years of dedicated Employee Relations Workplace Investigation experience in fast-paced, matrixed, and international EMEA-focused organisations
  • Strong knowledge of EMEA employment law and ER best practices, with a track record of independently managing complex, multi-jurisdictional cases from intake to resolution
  • Advanced investigation skills, including structured interviewing, note-taking, evidence assessment, and clear, well-reasoned report and outcome writing
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence, working closely with senior leaders, HR, Legal, works councils, and other employee representative bodies
  • Confident decision-making, balancing legal, reputational, and people considerations to reach practical, well-justified outcomes
  • Insight- and data-led approach, using case trends to drive prevention, manager education, and broader ER strategy
  • Resilience and adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity, sensitive matters, and competing priorities in high-growth, evolving environments
  • Strategic ER mindset, able to move beyond case management to design and embed proactive ER practices across international EMEA populations
  • Professional HR ER accreditation, such as CIPD or an equivalent certification
  • Ability to work from the Staines, UK or Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave
