The role involves managing complex employee relations cases, conducting workplace investigations, advising leaders on ER matters, and developing ER policies within a fast-paced, international environment to support organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end workplace investigations, including witness interviews, fact-finding, documentation review, and outcome recommendations.
Manage ER case intake, risk assessment, case management, and closure while maintaining accurate updates in case management systems.
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers, HRBPs, and leaders on employee relations matters.
Assess risk and recommend appropriate actions based on company policy, employment law, and best practices.
Identify trends and themes using data analytics to inform ER strategies and improve organizational effectiveness.
Contribute to the development and implementation of ER policies, processes, templates, and guidance materials.
Deliver coaching and training to managers and stakeholders on ER-related topics.
Handle sensitive matters with discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
Support change initiatives and organizational decisions requiring ER expertise.
Requirements
Years of dedicated Employee Relations Workplace Investigation experience in fast-paced, matrixed, and international EMEA-focused organisations
Strong knowledge of EMEA employment law and ER best practices, with a track record of independently managing complex, multi-jurisdictional cases from intake to resolution
Advanced investigation skills, including structured interviewing, note-taking, evidence assessment, and clear, well-reasoned report and outcome writing
Proven ability to build trust and influence, working closely with senior leaders, HR, Legal, works councils, and other employee representative bodies
Confident decision-making, balancing legal, reputational, and people considerations to reach practical, well-justified outcomes
Insight- and data-led approach, using case trends to drive prevention, manager education, and broader ER strategy
Resilience and adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity, sensitive matters, and competing priorities in high-growth, evolving environments
Strategic ER mindset, able to move beyond case management to design and embed proactive ER practices across international EMEA populations
Professional HR ER accreditation, such as CIPD or an equivalent certification
Ability to work from the Staines, UK or Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave
