The role involves leading and managing a sales team in the data storage industry, focusing on driving sales growth, building strategic relationships, recruiting and developing account executives, and achieving business targets through effective territory and channel management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and ensure alignment with company values.
Recruit, develop, and manage Account Executives and related roles based on business needs.
Manage team performance related to KPIs such as pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, and partner alignment.
Maintain a sales pipeline of at least 4 times the goal and ensure team members meet or exceed quotas.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, account principals, and leadership teams.
Drive sales activities, support key sales presentations, and coordinate resources to close business deals.
Achieve business targets including bookings, new logo acquisition, and team participation goals.
Conduct regular reviews of activities and pipeline health to ensure sales plan execution.
Utilize CRM and online tools effectively for sales management and reporting.
Requirements
8 years successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment.
Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively articulate Everpure s value.
Must be organized, detail and process oriented.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving.
Ability to coordinate Everpure resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to deliver business results including annual bookings goal, new logo production, and AE participation at or above goal.
Significant field travel expected.
Ability to lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and ensure team performance related to KPIs including pipeline growth, partner team alignment, forecast accuracy, and POC management.
Maintain a 4X pipeline to goal.
Ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, support key sales presentations, and provide strategic direction to the sales team.
