Job Description
The Systems Engineering Director (SED) at Pure Storage leads a team of technical sales professionals across Europe, focusing on pre-sales support and customer engagement. The role involves mentoring team members, driving technical expertise, and aligning sales strategies with company goals to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Systems Engineers (SEs).
- Oversee the technical pre-sales process and support the sales team.
- Engage with key customers to understand their technical requirements.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the regional sales strategy.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or SE leadership role.
- Strong technical background with expertise in storage solutions and related technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team coaching and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of customer needs, ideally with a Manufacturing or Automotive customer engagement background.
- Willingness to work from the Munich office in compliance with Pure's policies.
