Job Description
The Senior Curriculum Developer at Pure Storage is responsible for designing and developing technical training courses and materials for sales employees, focusing on sales processes, tools, and skills to support strategic initiatives. This role requires creativity and expertise in instructional design to enhance the learning experience and drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design sales and technical training courses for various modalities.
- Collaborate with the US-based team to define course requirements and manage course delivery.
- Manage, maintain, and update training materials and course catalogs.
- Develop and maintain technical hands-on labs.
- Align curriculum to company initiatives and roadmap.
- Incorporate sales strategy into product training.
- Implement course updates based on feedback.
- Collaborate with content creators to enhance training content.
- Stay current with storage and networking technology advancements.
- Lead and manage multiple end-to-end projects independently.
- Conduct peer reviews of training courses and recommend improvements.
- Define storyboards, templates, standards, and style guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, BTech in Computer Science, BCA, or an equivalent degree.
- Minimum of 8 years working in a curriculum development or instructional design role.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including skills in collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and managers to help write, design, develop, and manage projects.
- Experience in instructional design models such as Bloom's taxonomy, Gagne's 9 principles, ADDIE, ARCS model, etc.
- Significant experience in courseware development of a complex nature, demonstrating agility, speed, and efficiency of advanced instructional design in a highly changing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of solution areas, including databases, analytics, and containers.
- Worked in a sales enablement organization and/or field role in Sales.
- Proficient in using content generation tools such as Articulate Storyline360, Articulate Rise360, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Experience using video editing tools such as Final Cut, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Camtasia, or similar.
- Be able to use Smartsheet to create and manage project plans.
- Experience with current instructional innovation and technology, including Microlearning, Adaptive design, Gamification, AR, VR, AI applications.
- Experience in Design Thinking and recommending innovative learning strategies for content development.
- Be able to use G Suite applications such as Google Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc.
