Job Description
The Portworx Solutions Architect will design, install, and maintain Kubernetes clusters while delivering complex containerized solutions for clients. This role requires strong technical skills in Kubernetes and DevOps practices, along with a customer-focused approach to solve advanced technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand prospect's technical needs related to their Kubernetes deployments
- Design, install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters
- Develop Kubernetes-based solutions using CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Lead the API Micro-Services solution deployment and day-2 operations
- Support and manage customer environments
- Collaborate with Portworx Product Engineering and Support teams to provide excellent customer experience
Requirements
- In-depth experience deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with other container orchestration platforms.
- Linux system administration experience with RHEL, SLES, Debian, Ubuntu.
- Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing.
- Experience with Software-defined Storage including NFS, Block, iSCSI.
- In-depth experience in troubleshooting complex environments.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Mirantis, and other orchestrators.
- Understanding of open source databases and modern data platform technologies as they relate to highly available business applications on-prem and in the cloud.
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Airflow, Argo.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience.
- Automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 50% to support customer meetings and critical engagements.
- Business Fluent English and Arabic Language Skills.
