Job Description
The role involves providing technical sales guidance and enablement for AI HPC solutions, focusing on unstructured data, storage, and networking, while collaborating across teams to drive customer adoption and success with Pure Storage's innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and enablement on AI HPC solutions and unstructured data opportunities across sales regions.
- Create technical content such as solutions walkthroughs, deep dives, demos, and qualification guides for AI HPC solutions.
- Conduct webinars, presentations, and participate in customer calls, demos, POCs, and internal strategy sessions.
- Stay current with advancements in AI HPC products and formalize enablement plans based on new solutions.
- Contribute to solutions roadmap discussions and provide field feedback to product management and solutions architects.
- Oversee field testing to document application and platform insights, bridging gaps between solutions and field needs.
- Assist in troubleshooting post-sales with expert knowledge of solutions.
- Partner with sales and engineering teams for feedback, alignment, and communication.
- Act as a technical evangelist to inspire and motivate the field, attracting customer adoption of Pure Storage technology.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge about integrations with AI HPC with proven expertise in AI ML workloads and frameworks
- Strong technical acumen in the Object File Storage, NFS SMB protocols space with deep interest and vision for the industry
- Solid understanding of NAS vendors and eco-system partners
- Ten (10) years of Pre-sales experience in IT covering both private and public sector accounts
- Exceptional level of specialized sales on File use-cases, product solution knowledge, and a solid understanding of Pure Storage competitive domain in these technologies
- Previous hands-on experience executing Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and demonstrations
- Strong understanding of infrastructure servers, networking, storage, etc., that underpins a high-performance environment
- Experience leading from the front with a strong reputation as an industry-respected technical evangelist with demonstrated deep expertise in key technologies
- Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Pure Storage solution strategy to a technical level of detail
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple to understand manner to teach account teams and partners about Pure’s File solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
- Proficiency with G-Suite, CRM, opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
