Job Description
The role involves developing new business and building relationships with public sector clients to promote and sell Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding sales targets in the Bavarian region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business and build relationships with customers and channel resellers in the Public sector
- Educate customers on Pure Storage's data storage solutions and value proposition
- Lead pursuit teams and create account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Apply customer insights and technology expertise to position Pure's solutions effectively
- Prospect and open doors to new customers, especially in the Public Sector
- Build and deepen relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork
Requirements
- 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million euros in revenue per year
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving reference-able business
- Successful experience selling to Public Sector clients
- Fluent in German and English languages
- Ability to lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners
- Expertise in building and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen customer relationships over time
- Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and positioning solutions effectively
- Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers, ensuring understanding of Pure Storage’s total value proposition
- Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
- Demonstrated ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions that solve persistent problems
- Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams
- Passion for post-sales customer success
