Job Description

The role involves developing new business and building relationships with public sector clients to promote and sell Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding sales targets in the Bavarian region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and build relationships with customers and channel resellers in the Public sector
  • Educate customers on Pure Storage's data storage solutions and value proposition
  • Lead pursuit teams and create account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Apply customer insights and technology expertise to position Pure's solutions effectively
  • Prospect and open doors to new customers, especially in the Public Sector
  • Build and deepen relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork

Requirements

  • 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million euros in revenue per year
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving reference-able business
  • Successful experience selling to Public Sector clients
  • Fluent in German and English languages
  • Ability to lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with Partners
  • Expertise in building and managing a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen customer relationships over time
  • Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and positioning solutions effectively
  • Ability to evangelize and explain all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers, ensuring understanding of Pure Storage’s total value proposition
  • Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions that solve persistent problems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Pre-sales, Partner sales, and Field Marketing teams
  • Passion for post-sales customer success
