Job Description
The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships as an Account Executive in the enterprise storage technology sector, focusing on promoting innovative solutions, collaborating with partners, and exceeding sales targets within the Malaysia market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and secure new customers
- Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, partner sales, and marketing teams to drive success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to achieve sales targets
- Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed quotas
- Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position products
- Develop and execute strategies to close deals consistently
- Present proposals and communicate the benefits of Pure Storage solutions
Requirements
- 8 years of field sales experience
- Experience with direct and indirect sales on Enterprise accounts, especially within Malaysia Enterprise customers
- Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners
- Advanced prospecting skills in engaging new customers
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of cloud computing and Data Centre Architecture
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Native Bilingual proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and professional proficiency in English
