Job Description
This role involves promoting and selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to financial industry clients in Japan, building strong customer relationships, leading sales teams, and achieving sales targets through strategic account management and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to FSI customers in Japan
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate value and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources for customer acquisition
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
- Identify and prospect new customers, opening doors and navigating between executive and technical levels
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and sales efficiency within assigned territory
- Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork internally and with partners
- Ensure customer success post-sale and maintain ongoing customer engagement
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Sales experience with the financial industry and deeply understanding the finance industry knowledge.
- Ability to engage sincerely with FSI customers in Japan and understand their business challenges.
- Proven prospecting skills with an avid hunter mentality, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center while passionately positioning the advantages of a Pure Storage solution.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Experience leading a complex sales process involving multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving referenceable business.
- Ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions to position Pure’s portfolio to solve persistent problems.
- Strong leadership skills to build and invest in customer relationships, establish account plans, and lead pursuit teams to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers.
- Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Moderate level of English reading comprehension to perform job-related tasks effectively.
- Ability and willingness to dedicate effort to post-sales customer success and ongoing relationship management.
