Job Description
The role involves building and managing customer relationships, driving full-cycle sales of data storage solutions, and collaborating with partners to deliver outcomes for mid-market organizations in the Stuttgart region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow customer relationships across Baden Württemberg.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Collaborate with Presales, Channel, and Marketing teams to build pipeline.
- Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position and sell the platform.
- Create and execute account strategies and coordinate team selling with partners.
- Forecast sales accurately and close business on a regular cadence.
- Develop and present proposals highlighting business outcomes and platform value.
- Maintain a robust pipeline through prospecting and partner co-selling.
- Manage activities, pipeline, and forecasts using Salesforce.com.
Requirements
- Proficiency in business-fluent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead complex sales cycles and partner with multiple stakeholders across IT and business units.
- Knowledge of storage industry concepts such as SAN, NAS, and modern data solutions; cloud storage literacy is valued.
- Experience with creating and executing account strategies, coordinating team selling with partners, forecasting accurately, and closing business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence.
- Ability to build and maintain a robust pipeline through effective prospecting and partner co-selling, consistently delivering against quota goals.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com to manage activities, pipeline, and forecasts with rigor and transparency.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated authentic customer focus with the ability to cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability to develop and present compelling proposals that articulate business outcomes and the value of the Pure Storage platform.
- Experience or familiarity with working across Presales, Channel, and Marketing teams to build healthy pipeline and deliver results.
- Willingness to work closely with a network of channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position and sell the platform within assigned accounts.
